$300 Resort Credit Really?
4:02 PMIn September, Megan and I stayed at the Mayan Palace Resort on the Mayan Riviera using one of our Resort Certificates we purchased for $249. When we checked in, they told us they were running a promotion and we had a $300 food and beverage credit that we could use at any of establishments at the resort. At first I didn't believe them, so I kept calling to ask if it was still valid for our stay. The promotion turned out to be an unexpected surprise! We great meals everyday and when we checked out they took $300 off of all our room charges. This is ironic since we only paid $249 for the week in a one bedroom condo!
Here are a list of resorts that qualify for this offer. It looks like you don't have to buy the resort voucher from ResortVouchers.com because ResortCerts.com fulfilled my reservation and I still got the $300 credit. The coolest part about this offer is that is valid until December 31, 2012 AND for travel from April 6, 2013 through October 31, 2013.
Here's how it works.
- You must request the $300 credit* during check-in
- The credit redeemable for available resort services such as food, beverages, spa treatments and golf green fees (this may vary depending on the resort)
- $300 Resort Credit Offer valid on travel through December 31, 2012 AND for travel from April 6, 2013 through October 31, 2013
- Offer applies per stay, not per person
- Offer valid once per calendar year
TWC Tip: I would recommend calling the resort prior to making your reservation just to verify you qualify for the $300 voucher. Write down the time, date, number you called, who you talked to and a summary of the conversation.
*Credit redemption rules may apply depending on the confirmed resort and services for which they would be used. Not applicable towards taxes and gratuities. Credit must be used during stay and is not redeemable for cash.
